Jo Thomas is one of our favourite authors and once again this utterly delightful story has all the trademarks of what we love in her books  – a sublime location, delicious food and beautifully crafted characters that the reader can become fully invested in.

Taking us to Tuscany the heat literally burns off the page; with the brilliance of Jo’s storytelling and the intrigue, humour and pace of the story unfolding keeps you turning the pages until the very end.

This is such a special heartwarming, wonderfully uplifting summer read.
