Review
This is such a delightful book, Diana Henry is so well-respected in her field and this book is one of her best examples.
Beautifully produced from the gorgeous cover to the wisdom within, this is a book that should be in every kitchen library.
Diana writes in such an evocative style engaging all the senses in her introduction to each chapter and in the recipes themselves, as illustrated in the content above, her descriptions add to the joyous escapism contained in this book.
As she says at the end of her introduction, ‘With food, you don’t have to buy an airline ticket, or don a backpack; the magic of the romantic is there, right beside the everyday, for you to bring into your kitchen.’
A wonderful edition of an award-winning classic, full of magical and enchanting recipes! Highly Recommended!
